Lifting equipments can be load tested via solid weights, load cells that are calibrated and waterbags. Testing is witnessed by Classification Society Surveyor or MOM certified professional engineers. Equipment involved are, as mentioned above, cranes, davit and lifting gears, and various load testers such as waterbags and load cells.
